What is the "student perspective" and why is it important?

logo from Student Voice website - stuvoice dot org The "student perspective" is just what it says--it's the learner's viewpoint about improving learning and learning with technology. We look at a lot of materials for this class--websites, research articles, blog posts, podcasts, movies, and more. Most of them are written by teachers or people who work with technology. There aren't that many produced by students! So we're going to change that.

Once you've learned a little bit about learning--AND learning with technology--you may find yourself sharing what you've gotten out of this class with other people. This might be as simple as telling a friend about how to use their smart phone to do homework during a long commute on public transportation. It might be as big as starting your own blog! No matter how you do it, we want you to share the student perspective:
