PHYS-10L-Introduction to Physics Lab-A1L-24079
Physics 10L is "Practical application of basic concepts and principles of physics: Motion, forces, gravity, matter, energy, momentum, rotation, oscillation, sound, heat, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, light, quantum physics, atoms, nuclei, and relativity" (catalog description). This course is suitable for: (1) non-science majors needing to satisfy a physical science with lab requirement in combination with Physics 10, (2) future science majors taking Physics 10 who wish to go deeper into the topics, and (3) anyone who want to see all the fun demos and lab activities in Physics 10 first-hand.
Physics 10L is a lab-only class. Students are expected to be taking Physics 10 (or its equivalent) concurrently (or should have completed Physics 10 in a prior semester).
