Canvas Login Written Instructions
- You must already be enrolled in the course.
To enroll in classes, go to Passport at https://pa.peralta.edu Links to an external site.
- Go to the Peralta Portal
Links to an external site. and select "Students"
- Login using the same username and password as your Student Email.
- If you recently used your Student Email, you will not need to reset your password.
- If you have not logged in to your Student Email recently or if you are a new student, then you will need to reset your password using safe and secure verification steps (similar to Google and Yahoo email). Refer to the Login and Password Reset Instructions Links to an external site..
- You will be logged in to your Apps panel. Click on the Canvas icon
- Your courses will appear on your Canvas Dashboard at the start of the semester.
- If you still cannot find your course, please contact your instructor by using "Ask Your Instructor a Question" on the left-side Help menu
, or send an email to the Canvas Helpdesk at canvas@peralta.edu - be sure to include your full name, your student ID#, the name of the course, and describe what happened.
