Canvas Guides: MyLab and MyOpenMath

MyLab & Mastering is a fee-based Pearson product. MyOpenMath is a free product. Both MyLab and MyOpenMath will require students to create a login account when they first access the content. Please use your Peralta Student Email Address when creating your login account - these are connected to your grades in Canvas. Please view the directions below.

MyLab & Mastering

Students will need to purchase an Access Code for Pearson MyLab. The Access Code comes with a new textbook. If you purchased a used copy of the textbook, you may purchase an Access Code online at the time you create your login account. Please view the videos below for more information.

If your instructor uses Pearson MyLab, you will need to create a login account to Pearson. Please follow the steps in this video:

MyOpenMath

Create a new student account with your Peralta Student Email Address or login with an existing student account at

https://www.myopenmath.com/ Links to an external site. 

Please use your Peralta Student Email Account since this may be connected to your grades.

If your instructor wants you to use specific courses or content on MyOpenMath, they will provide you with the Course ID and Enrollment Key that you will enter when you create your login account.
