Physics 4C is "Comprehensive study of major topics of physics: Light, interference, relativity, quantum physics, atoms, molecules, and nuclei" (catalog description). This course is suitable for: (1) intended physics, astronomy, and engineering major students who need the third semester of calculus-based physics; and (2) interested students who wish to learn mathematical treatments of special relativity and quantum mechanics.
