Welcome to Checkpoint 3!
This Checkpoint will cover material from Section 6 - Section 7 notes. So please make sure review the notes for those Sections when preparing for this Checkpoint. See the page 🤓 Practice Exam Template for a possible strategy on being best prepared.
The Checkpoint has 8 questions and the time limit is 3 hours. You will need to scan and upload work so be sure to save a few minutes in order to do that before submitting. Students are allowed to have 1 page of notes front and back, and a graphing calculator while taking the Checkpoint.
The main purpose for this Checkpoint is for you to see what you understand well and what you may need to go back and review. Remember that we learn from our mistakes so don't be afraid to make them. 😁
You don't actually get graded on the Checkpoint itself by me, you will do a Self Analysis and Reflection for Checkpoint Work on this. I will post the solutions after the Checkpoint date.
So try your best, make mistakes, and learn! 👨🏫👍
Please Read: Instructions for Taking Checkpoint
- This is a timed Checkpoint and you will have 2.75 hours to complete plus an extra 15 minutes for any scanning and uploading.
- All work needs to be done a separate sheets of paper (I recommend having about 8 pages)
- When you are set up and are ready, you can click below on "Take the Quiz" to access the questions for Checkpoint
- Write each problem down and show all your work neatly on a separate sheet of paper.
- For the very last problem of Checkpoint, please scan all of your work and submit it as a file upload. (Note: Not submitting a scanned version of your work will result in not receiving credit on the Self Grade and Reflection assignment)
- When finished with the Checkpoint, follow instructions on Self Analysis and Reflection for Checkpoint Work
- assignment. (Note: This is where you actually get your points for Checkpoint)
- You can use a Graphing Calculator, and 1 page (8.5in by 11in) of notes , front and back for this Checkpoint
- Important: This assessment is meant to be done on your own with only the tools listed above for help. Remember that the goal is to learn something from this, not just get all the correct answers. All students have the opportunity to do Checkpoints along with Self Analysis and Reflections multiple times until they understand the material assessed.
