Physics 4B is "Comprehensive study of major topics of physics: Thermodynamics, electric forces and fields, magnetic forces and fields, electricity, and AC and DC circuits" (catalog description). This course is suitable for: (1) intended physical science and engineering major students, and (2) interested students who wish to learn how calculus is used to describe the physical theory of electromagnetism.
Physics 4B at College of Alameda is a hybrid class with online lecture and face-to-face lab. The required once-a-week lab meeting is used for all things that require face-to-face interaction (most of which is actual lab).
