I can't login to Canvas. |
You must be a Peralta student and be enrolled in classes in order to login to Canvas and access your courses. Not Enrolled Yet? - Continuing Students can enroll though their Passport Student Centers. New Students and Former Students (who have not enrolled in classes in the last two terms) will need to follow the Application & Enrollment Steps. Please read the enrollment steps carefully, including what to do if you do not receive the welcome email after submitting your CCCApply application. After enrolling in classes, please wait up to 8 hours before logging in to your courses on Canvas. Already Enrolled? - Canvas has a different login password than your Passport Student Center. Please follow the instructions for logging in to Canvas. |

Am I a New Student? | If you have never applied to Peralta Community College District, then you are a New Student. Please follow all of the steps on the Application & Enrollment Steps Links to an external site.site. Students should make a note of their CCCApply Confirmation # in the event that they need to check on the status of their application. A welcome email will be sent to you within 24 hours of submitting your CCCApply application with your Student ID# and login information to your Passport Student Center. Am I a Former Student? | If you took classes more than two semesters ago, or applied to Peralta District but never enrolled in any courses, then you are a Former Student. You already have a Peralta Student Account and Student ID #. However, you will need to resubmit your CCCApply application - follow the steps on the Application & Enrollment Steps site Links to an external site..If you do not receive the welcome email within 24 hours of resubmitting your application, try logging in to your Passport Student Center Links to an external site. with your previous login information. What is my Passport User ID? |
Your Passport User ID is the username for logging in to your Student Center on PASSPORT Links to an external site. and also for logging in to Canvas. For most students, this will be your Student ID #. For students who have been a Peralta student for 5 or more years, it is a combination of letters and numbers. I just want to take one course and I am not getting a degree. Do I need to go through Orientation and Assessment? | You may be exempt - refer to the information "2) Orientation, Assessment, and Counseling" on the Application & Enrollment Steps site Links to an external site.. How do I clear a prerequisite hold? |

I don't know my Student ID # | Your Student ID # begins with the number "1" and is on your Student ID Card or on your receipt for fee payment. It is also on your Student Center page at the top. If you cannot login to your Student Center, contact reset@peralta.edu with your Full Name, CCCApply Confirmation #, and date of application. |
