Login and Reset Your Password from the Peralta Portal
- Go to the Peralta Portal
Links to an external site. and select "Student Portal"
- Login using the same username and password as for your Student Email. You may be asked to reset your password if you have not logged in to your student email recently or are a new student.
- For help resetting your password, refer to Login and Password Reset Instructions.

- For technical assistance, send an email to canvas@peralta.edu - be sure to include your full name, your student ID #, your Passport User ID, and explain what happened.
- You may access your email from your Apps panel after logging in to the Student Portal. Click on the Mail icon
. Or you may login directly to your student email at https://outlook.office365.com, Links to an external site. but you will not be able to access your Apps panel. We recommend that you login through the Student Portal.
Forward your Peralta Email
Follow these easy steps to forward your Peralta email to a personal email account like Gmail, Yahoo, etc.
Student Email Advantages
- Redirect your student email to a personal address. To Redirect, login to your student email, click the Question icon near your name in the upper right, and search for "forwarding email". Fill it out the form, and save.
- Free use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other useful software with your Peralta Student Email while you are enrolled in classes.
- You have 1 terabyte (TB)--that's 1000 gigabytes (GB)--of personal file storage.
- Note: you must login through the Peralta Portal to access your Student Dashboard and see the Canvas icon. If you login directly to Student Email Links to an external site. you will not be able to access all of the applications on your Student Dashboard.
