Instructions
Instruction of Test 1:
- It is an online test, and all students will submit Test 1 electronically via Canvas.
- Test 1 link will be posted on the main page on 3/5, 9:00 am.
- Test 1 is available from 3/5, 9 am to 3/8 11:59 pm for 4 days.
- Test 2 covers only Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.
- Students will have 2 hours 40 mins (160 mins) with 1 attempt. It has a total of 15 questions
- This exam is an “open book,” which means you are permitted to use lectures notes, your own notes from class, textbook, and materials on our course website.
- The exam must be taken completely alone. This means no internet searches, or materials from other external links, etc.
- Your exam will begin as soon as you click the "take the quiz" button.
- For writing questions, you can show me your work by using a math editor, or by uploading the necessary images as a PDF file, or by taking a photo with your mobile device and uploading it. Your mathematical writing must be neat and clean.
- Your exam will be timed by Canvas. If you submit the quiz after the allotted time (160 mins), your quiz will be marked late.
- Canvas will not allow the student to take the quiz after 3/8. Please be sure to submit test 1 before the end of the period.
- In order to keep a record of their work and answers to every question on the exam, students should write their answers down in their notebook.
- In order to keep a record of their work, students are required to save their work (either in physical form or as a set of photos).
