Dear Students,

Welcome to STAT C1000 with support! I am excited to have you in this course. In this class, we will explore some key concepts in Statistics and build a foundation for understanding and applying basic concepts in the real world.

This course is designed to be interactive and engaging, and I encourage you to participate in discussions, assignments, and activities actively.

Course Materials and Platforms:

Course Website: All course materials, announcements, and assignments will be available on canvas. Please make sure to log in regularly for updates.
Textbook: There is no formal textbook for this course but all learning materials will be contained in the learning modules below.
Communication: We will be using CANVAS to stay connected throughout the semester. Please make sure to check your canvas regularly for important updates and announcements.

Welcome to STAT C 1000 / Math 213!

This section of Statistics (STAT C 1000) is paired with Support for Statistics (Math 213). Instructional
content for both courses will be blended in the same online Canvas site. Throughout the term, any
topics identified by the instructor as needing review or additional explanation in order to succeed in
the STAT C1000 course will be included as part of the Math 213 content.
