What is Employee Self Service and why do I need it?

Employee Self Service is a page in the Human Capitol Management System where employees can view payroll and benefit information, and edit or update their personal details.

Quickstart Guide - log in and navigate Employee Self Service

1. Enter your User ID - use the same User ID used in PROMT (usually a first initial and last name and does not include @peralta.edu)
2. Enter your Password - use the same password used in PROMT
3. Select "Sign In"

You will be taken to the Employee Self Service page within the Human Capital Management system. This page will have multiple tiles including:

- - Payroll - click this tile to view your payroll information
  - Personal Details - click this tile to view and edit your personal information
  - Benefit Details - click this tile to view a summary of your current benefits
  - You can return to the Employee Self Service page by clicking the back button or by clicking the home button (top right)

To navigate around Employee Self Service, you can:

- - Click the home button from any page to return to the main Employee Self Service Page
  - Click "Search" icon, top right, to find a resource using a key word
  - Click the "Bell" icon, top right, to see Alert Messages or Tasks sent to you from Human Resources
  - Click the the "three dots" icon, top right, to open a New Window, read Oracle/PeopleSoft Help manuals, or Sign Out
  - Depending on your user access, you may have additional options in the drop down at the top, center of your screen

When you are done, select the "three dots" on the top right of any page and select "Sign Out"
